Summer Youth Works!
The Summer Youth Works! program provides seasonal employment for college-bound high school juniors and seniors and students enrolled in accredited colleges.
Through this program, students have had the opportunity to get real work experience at partner work sites such as the Cannon Street YMCA, the Charleston Promise Neighborhood, Trident United Way, Miracle Academy, and the City of Charleston.
"It gave me the chance to get the feel of being at a desk, experiencing people coming in and out of the office needing help... I'm going to miss it... it was a really great experience." -- Ameika Simmons, program participant
